Water Treatment Plant/Distribution System Superintendent

Manage, operate and maintain functions required for operation of the Lyons-Mehama Water District (888+connections), as outlined in the Water Treatment Plant/Distribution System Superintendent job description.

Successful candidate must pass a pre-employment alcohol, drug and controlled substance testing and have the ability to satisfactorily pass an employment physical.

Minimum/Special Requirements/Licenses/Certification:

  Three years of experience in a water treatment plant and distribution operations.

  Must possess and maintain a Water Treatment 1 and Water Distribution 2 certification with the Oregon Health Authority.

  Possess a valid Oregon Driver's License.

  Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  Ability to read meters, lift 50 pounds and/or the ability to perform the work required.

  Attend monthly board meetings and provide the board with written updates.

Salary Range/Benefits:

  $55,000 -$65,000 DOE

  Benefit package with retirement plan available.

Trial Service Period:

  One year trial service period for employment.
